Looking to do more to serve the community and fight injustice? This is the PERFECT opportunity for YOU then. ServeUp is our annual alternative Spring Break trip. For the past 9 years, BU students (along with other neighboring New England schools) have traveled down to New Orleans to assist with the rebuilding efforts after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Each day, teams will serve mainly with well-established groups like Habitat for Humanity, Project Homecoming and Rebuilding Together. In addition to building and restoring homes, some groups serve with urban gardens. There are also group discussions about the intersection of faith and social justice. ANY and ALL faith backgrounds are welcome! Interested but still got questions? Contact Bryan Jimenez or one of our staff! The registration link is below.
